Not every overview needs a table. For a weekly status e-mail, a team home page or a stand-up, a short list – one line per project with its status, progress and owner – is often easier to read. The Reporting Page Properties Data Provider works with the Reporting List View as well.

Available in Reporting for Confluence 14.0.0 (Data Center). Reporting for Confluence Cloud gets the same macro in its next release.

The configuration

  • Reporting List View with a Reporting Page Properties Data Provider inside: Labels project, Page Properties ID project
  • One Reporting List Item: Body content type Text and expressions in square braces, Body content [CurrentItem.title]: [CurrentItem.properties.Status], [CurrentItem.properties.Progress] done, owner [CurrentItem.properties.Owner]

The result

A bulleted list of projects with status, progress and owner, built from Page Properties by Reporting List View

Every line is built from the page title and its Page Properties, and the list is updated whenever a project page changes. The same data can be shown as a table with totals – see our article on Page Properties reports with totals, formulas and sorting.
