The basic steps for applying a conditional formatting are the following:

  1. If CelesteCS Conditions for Confluence add-on is not yet installed, set it up using the instructions here for a Server version or here for a Cloud version
  2. Add the Conditional Rules Manager (Cloud) macro to your Confluence page
  3. Place a table you want to apply conditional formatting to into the Conditional Rules Manager macro body
  4. Place a Conditional Rule (Cloud) macro for each formatting condition into the Conditional Rules Manager macro body
  5. Configure Conditional Rule macro according to your needs: choose appropriate rule condition, set appropriate values, specify the cells to apply formatting to, choose formatting options, set up replacement text if needed
  6. Save the page
  7. See the result on the saved page
